Audio Note Origins

Audio Note is a UK-based company known for manufacturing high-quality audio equipment, including turntables like the TT1. The origins of the TT1 can be traced back to the Audio Note’s adaptation of the award-winning Dunlop Systemdek IIX. Audio Note improved upon the IIX design by incorporating a fully floating, three-point, level-adjustable suspended sub-chassis, which isolates the platter and tonearm from the outer chassis, motor, and support. This design helps to reduce unwanted vibrations and enhances audio quality. The TT1 features a platter and sub-platter made from a single piece of acrylic, chosen for its similar properties to vinyl, which helps in achieving better sound reproduction.
