CS Port Origins

CS Port, the manufacturer of the LFT1M2 turntables, was founded in 2014 by Toshimichi Machino, who was born in 1947 in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Machino has over 50 years of experience in the audio sector, with a significant portion of his career dedicated to developing switching power supplies. He has held key roles in the industry, including leading the development division at Cosel Co. Ltd and serving as the President and Chairman of the company. Additionally, he has been the former director of The Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers.

The company’s name, CS Port, is inspired by the concept of a port that shields a bay from winds and tides, allowing ships to enter and depart freely. Similarly, CS Port aims to shield listeners from unwanted noise that might detract from the enjoyment of music. The company’s mission is to find harmony between music and listeners, transcending space and time, by creating audio equipment that brings their passion for music to life.
