Cybernet
Cybernet Origins
Cybernet Electronics Corp., the manufacturer of the CP-100 turntable, was an independent company in Japan until the mid-1970s when it was fully acquired by Kyocera. Initially, Cybernet focused on producing transistor radios and shortwave receivers. By the late 1970s, the company began offering more sophisticated audio equipment like receivers, tuners, and amplifiers in Europe. However, despite these efforts, Cybernet did not achieve significant commercial success, and the company was fully integrated into Kyocera in 1982.
