The Akai X-1800, also known as the Akai X-1800 SD, is a combined stereo reel-to-reel tape recorder with an integral 8-track cartridge recorder produced from around 1969 to 1972. It is a versatile unit designed for both reel-to-reel and cartridge recording/playback.
