Drive System: Belt-driven with a servo-controlled DC motor for stable and precise speed control.
Speeds: 33⅓ and 45 rpm, automatically selected based on record size.
Operation: Fully automatic—record size detection, automatic pickup movement, and speed selection.
Tonearm: Radial, lightweight, with a low effective mass (about 8g). The arm pivots on three small steel ball-bearings for smooth movement. Stylus pressure is adjustable via a threaded, cylindrical counterweight at the rear (range: 0–3.5g).
Cartridge: SP10 (or similar Bang & Olufsen moving magnet cartridge), designed for secure tracking at just 1g.
Speed Control: Manual fine-tuning via strobe pattern on the platter. With adjustment, speed accuracy can be made spot-on.
