The Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 3000c is a limited-edition music system built around a restored Beogram 3000-series turntable and a pair of modern Beolab 8 wireless loudspeakers. It is not a newly designed standalone turntable. The analogue source is a restored original unit from the Beogram 3000 family, originally launched in 1985.

Bang & Olufsen introduced the Dune Grey Edition in June 2026. That edition combines a soft-matte aluminium finish with dark walnut details and is limited to 100 individually numbered units.

Turntable section

The turntable is a restored and reassembled Beogram 3000-series unit. Bang & Olufsen states that the original turntables are sourced internationally and returned to its facility in Struer, Denmark, where specialists restore and reassemble them.

The Beogram 3000 design uses electronically controlled tangential tracking. Its tonearm follows the record groove laterally rather than pivoting from a fixed bearing, and Bang & Olufsen’s Optimum Pivot Point design is intended to reduce the transmission of vibration into the playback system.

Beolab 8 loudspeakers

The turntable is paired with two Beolab 8 active wireless loudspeakers. The speakers communicate wirelessly with one another, while the turntable is connected to the system by cable.

The Beolab 8 uses separate Class-D amplification for its tweeter, midrange, and woofer. Its published processing functions include Active Room Compensation, Beam Width Control, Thermal Protection, and Adaptive Bass Linearization.

Connectivity

The system’s analogue and networked sections are integrated as follows:

The 2026 Dune Grey announcement also states a 100-unit worldwide limit, priced at €27,000 / US$30,000 through selected Bang & Olufsen stores. Regional product pages may display different local pricing—for example, one official page lists €26,000—so the applicable price depends on edition, market, and date.

The Beosystem 3000c is best understood as a restored-vintage analogue source integrated with a modern active-streaming loudspeaker system:
