Dr. Feickert Analogue Volare 25

The Dr. Feickert Analogue Volare 25, also known as the Volare Venticinque, is a special 25th anniversary edition of the acclaimed Volare turntable. This limited edition model incorporates significant technical enhancements, most notably a dual-motor drive system adapted from the higher-end Blackbird model, while maintaining the compact proportions and high build quality for which Feickert is known.

Key Technical Features

• Drive System:
  Belt-drive with two precision motors positioned 180° apart. This dual-motor configuration is designed to improve rotational stability, reduce noise, and deliver a quieter background compared to single-motor designs. The technology is adapted from Feickert’s Blackbird turntable, offering performance benefits typically found in much more expensive models.

• Chassis and Plinth:
  The chassis is engineered for high mass concentration around the bearing, enhancing stability and minimizing vibration. The plinth is larger than the standard Volare, allowing for improved resonance control and the accommodation of longer tonearms.

• Bearing:
  Features an extremely stiff, robust, and low-friction bearing. The bearing employs a high inner inertia and an oil bath wet sump approach, which together contribute to low rumble, smooth operation, and very low noise floor.

• Armboard and Tonearm Compatibility:
  Quick swap mechanism for armboards, allowing for easy interchangeability.
  Supports armboards with a pivot-to-spindle distance of 205–270 mm, accommodating tonearms with effective lengths from 9 to 11 inches. The 10-inch tonearm is considered ideal and is included in the limited edition package (Auris W10a tonearm).

• Platter:
  Heavy, well-balanced aluminum platter designed to work in harmony with the high-torque dual-motor drive.
