Additional information

The Dr. Feickert Analogue Woodpecker Turntable is a belt-driven turntable designed to offer a traditional look with high performance. It features a quick-release sliding armboard system capable of supporting tonearms ranging from 9 to 12 inches, making it versatile for different setups. The chassis is 18.9 inches wide and 15 inches deep, and it weighs approximately 29.7 pounds without the platter. The total weight, including the 13.2-pound platter, is around 43 pounds.

The Woodpecker's design includes a proprietary-software-controlled DC motor, which provides very low jitter levels. It also has a high-inertia platter and an updated bearing design, contributing to its superior sound quality. The turntable comes with five pushbuttons for speed selection (33/45/78) and speed adjustments.

One of the key features of the Woodpecker is its ease of use, allowing for quick and easy tonearm changes within a couple of minutes. This flexibility, combined with its elegant and traditional design, makes it a popular choice among audiophiles. The turntable is available in various finish options, including walnut, palisander, zebrano, tineo, high gloss black, and high gloss white, with the option of black or silver aluminum top and bottom plates.

The Woodpecker is known for its ability to reproduce music with clarity, drive, and pacing, and it has been praised for its superb timing, imaging, and tonal resolution. It is often paired with high-end tonearms like the Kuzma Stogi S 12VTA, which enhances its performance even further.
