The Garrard SP 25 MKIV is a four-speed single record playing unit known for its robust design and reliable performance. It features an improved tubular pickup arm with a resiliently mounted counterbalance weight and a calibrated dial to set stylus force easily. The turntable is driven by a magnetically screened resiliently mounted Laboratory series motor through a retractable rubber idler wheel. The pickup arm returns to its rest position automatically after playing a record, and the unit switches off.
