Additional information
The Gold Note Giglio is a DC-drive turntable with electronic speed control and a dust cover. It combines Italian design with quality materials.
Key Features and Technical Specs:
Plinth: The plinth is a composite of materials, including Italian walnut hardwood, stainless steel, and black acrylic, designed to dampen resonances. The lower plinth's curved design is inspired by the catenary curve. It sits on three adjustable anodized aluminum spikes.
Platter: The Giglio features a 33mm thick platter made of Sustarin (a hard plastic also known as POM). It has a ribbed top surface for a gel mat.
Motor: It uses a 12V synchronous motor made in Switzerland. Gold Note’s proprietary power control system, based on a Quadral-Core micro-controller, reduces vibrations and develops high torque. The power supply unit electronically controls the 33.3rpm and 45rpm speeds and stores speed adjustments.
Bearing: It features a high-precision bearing/spindle system with ultra-strict matching tolerances. It utilizes an 80mm spindle in carbon rectified steel with a finely polished bronze journal.
Tonearm: The Giglio includes the B-5.1 9-inch tonearm, largely made from aluminum, with micro ball bearings, VTA adjustment, and a thread and weight system for anti-skate.
Speed Control: Electronic speed control with fine pitch control.
Transmission: A 70 shores rectified EPDM belt is used for transmission.
Dimensions: 425mm (W) x 200mm (H) x 360mm (D).
Weight: 15kg
