The Hørning Hybrid Systems SATI Transferrenns Ultimate turntable is designed with a focus on grounding and minimizing unwanted noise, aimed at delivering sound quality comparable to reel-to-reel master tapes.
Bearing Design: It uses a shaft/ball combination turning down into a flat diamond, which the manufacturer believes provides absolute grounding for a massive platter. This design contrasts with air, magnetic, and Teflon bearings, which the manufacturer finds to sound thinner, lighter, and brighter in comparison.
