The JBE 6001 was again an identical specification to the 3001 with its clear acrylic plinth, only this time it was wider at 19 1/2in by the same 14 1/2in depth. This was done specifically to accommodate the large DV505 tone arm. Once again, there was the option of a more conventional platter in place of the distinctive JBE one
