• Motor and Drive: It uses a 45-pole brushless direct drive motor developed by Klaudio, providing ultra-quiet operation with wow and flutter under 0.05% (some sources cite as low as 0.015%), and exceptional speed accuracy around ±0.001 rpm (~0.01%). Motor torque is around 2-5 Nm/sec depending on sources. The motor is integrated into both the stator (plinth) and rotor (platter).

• Stabilization and Braking: The platter benefits from enhanced liquid stabilization and lighting to further damp vibrations. An electronic braking system stops the platter within roughly 4 seconds.

• Automatic Clamping: A distinctive mechanical automatic clamping system flattens both the center spindle and periphery of the LP to prevent wobbling and improve cartridge tracking. This feature is key for optimal playback fidelity.

• Tonearm Support: The turntable supports two tonearms, including support for Klaudio’s proprietary tangential tonearm and a laser pod (both sold separately), with mounts available for a secondary tonearm.
