Origin Live Swift

Type: 2-speed, manual belt-driven turntable.

Drive Method: Belt drive with a high-grade Swiss DC motor (DC100 or DC200 in some models), featuring ironless cores to eliminate eddy currents, resulting in low vibration and speed stability. The motors are decoupled to minimize vibration and reduce audible noise.

Platter: Multi-Layer Platter (MLP) with an intricately designed top featuring over 1000 laser-cut slots, combined with a composite layer underneath. This design diffuses surface resonance through vibrational interference, enhancing sound quality by reducing resonant artifacts.

Speeds: Supports 33 1/3 and 45 RPM playback with super accurate speed control via the Light Speed Controller (LSC) or similar technology, ensuring absolute speed stability of 0.0001%.

Wow and Flutter: Approximately 0.04% to 0.05% depending on the model and configuration.

Rumble: Minimized by the suspension system.

Tonearm: Compatible with various tonearms, including Origin Live arms and Rega arms. The armboard can accept 9.5″ and 12″ tonearms.

Suspension System: Decoupled arm board and sub-chassis design to reduce vibration transmission.

Bearing: Ultra-low friction bearing, such as the MK4 low-friction bearing, which uses a Tungsten carbide ball bearing centered on a hardened thrust pad for low friction and long life.
